4 Stars Sleek, perfectly fitted leather case…
This is a wonderful, well-made leather case for the Asus 1000he. There are several slim pockets under the screen cover side for memory cards & a few business cards and the leather is high quality.
The only bad news is that there is a small leather strip running under the space bar (and above the touch pad) that makes the space bar a little difficult to hit when typing fast. You have to angle your thumb down more to hit the space bar or else you’ll be blocked by the leather strip.
My friend noticed this right away but if you don’t mind this minor annoyance, this case is for you! I figure that I can either cut this leather part off or remove the cover when typing extensively. Problem solved.
5 Stars Perfect fit for eee PC 1000HE
I love my ASUS EEEPC 1000HE, but it has a gloss surface that collects fingerprints like eyes on a beautiful woman. This case is a perfect fit (snug, solid) and a perfect solution to the fingerprint issue. Even with the leather case the netbook fits in the neoprene cover that came with my 1000HE. And the price is good, too.
