I wanted a small case to carry around my new ASUS 1000HE netbook. I wish I had read all the reviews. Problems are exactly as others have reported. The case is small and you have to be careful not to scratch the edges of the netbook when closing the zipper. Besides this, the outside pocket on this case doesn’t even hold the AC adapter without causing a bulge in the case. Also, although the case is advertised as having a “memory” foam lining, it is hardly more protective than the free carrying case that comes with the ASUS 1000HE. I think the case is a wasted of money, as many others are available.

This small padded case is the perfect traveling and storage companion for the 10 inch Asus netbook. The netbook fits it nicely, and the small storage pouch can hold the powercord and owners manual. So far, durability of the case seems very good.

The case is neat but a tad small for the AC brick. I would definitely buy again.

Nice little travel case. Although very small, I can fit my mouse and charger into the extra compartment without any trouble. And then this little case fits nicely in my backpack or side case of my motorcycle. Offers little protection, but lots of convenience.

1 Star SERIOUS HARDWARE DAMAGE RISK
My initial impressions of this product were modestly high… The foam protection seems acceptable, and although the vinyl covering is not of the highest quality considering the price, not bad.

This case allows the user to keep the netbook in the case while it is in use… the top two restraints are clear vinyl and the case is low profile enough to not hinder the user while typing

Here is the issue: while in the case, my ASUS 1000HE netbook overheated enough to force an automatic reboot… this is triggered at 90 degrees Celcius, or 194 Degrees Farenheit… in other words, insanely, insanely hot. The machine only has 500ms to shutdown before catastrophic, irreversible damage. if the shutdown BSOD (blue screen of death) fails to initiate, you will kill your machine.

So… If you get this case, DO NOT use the case as intended. Therefore, I would suggest using another product that functions like a more traditional case…
